This Buderim project saw the transformation of an existing home into a modern, light-filled family retreat. We extended the property to include two new bedrooms, a bathroom, and a contemporary laundry — all designed to blend seamlessly with the original structure. Floor-to-ceiling glass was used throughout to maximise natural light and create an open, airy feel.

The outdoor area features a brand-new concrete pool with a minimalist water feature, composite decking, and frameless glass fencing — balancing both compliance and aesthetic appeal. Inside, the open-plan living space was styled with natural, budget-friendly finishes that offer warmth and functionality, including a spacious master suite with oversized windows and a walk-through robe.

Landscaping included cost-effective loose stone, a paved stepping path, and a stepped retaining wall to elevate the backyard play area. Despite the challenges of a sloping block, clever level transitions and careful ceiling planning ensured clear sightlines from the kitchen to the rear fence.

The result? A stunning blend of form and function that enhances family living and brings the outdoors in.
